Meryl Streep is Julia Child and Amy Adams is Julie Powell in writer-director Nora Ephron’s adaptation of two bestselling memoirs: Powell’s Julie & Julia and My Life in France, by Julia Child with Alex Prud’homme.

Based on two true stories, Julie & Julia intertwines the lives of two women who, though separated by time and space, are both at loose ends...until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Let starts off with "MY MOST DISASTROUS COOKING EXPERIENCE" since i don't have a favorite one.

cooking is definitely something i am not good at,
in fact i should just admit that i am so-really-extremely bad at it =x

so thats what happen when a skill-less soul tried to cook. . .

i was thinking of cooking myself a fried egg one night as supper (which i believe is not that fattening, right?) when its nearly burned my kitchen upside down. *exaggerating!~

then, i assumed that cooking egg with a pan is just to make it look nice, like more chef-looking.
so i went to cook egg using those mental cooking pot that you usually used to cook maggi mee.

thats so much of a smart alex :(

exactly what i do :

1) Break the egg into a bowl and stirred it first.

2) On the gas and heat the empty mental pot.

3) Was contradicting if water is needed as the pot looked so empty (at the point of time, i totally forget about the existence of "OIL")

4) Pour the bowl of egg into the empty pot after i affirmed that water is not needed when come to cooking egg.

5) Leave it to heat and soon after the "CHAO-TA" smell filled my kitchen.

MARVELLOUS! what a dumb HUNGRY ass i am.
as dumb as it might sound, i actually did it. \

this resulted in me cleaning up the mess in the middle of night and throwing away my mum's favourite pot.

BONUS: mum have a good time laughing at me even till now when we mention about egg. WHAT A HAPPY JOKE HUH!

to conclude,
eggs is not likable and hard to manage.
not forgetting cooking is not fun and VERY DISASTOUS.

BUT this will inspire you,

LETS WATCH IT =D
