i remembered watching the 10pm show on channel u where there's this particular scene.

the female lead was crying and said that she will pay him to accompany her because she doesnt want to be alone, at least for that night.

ethan ruan told her not to do that, and he will accompany her for the night for free.

so the female lead questioned: "why?".

his replied was: "因为你值得被珍惜".
it means "because you deserve to be treasure".

how true a sentence, as simple as it is, i think everyone desire that.
