After much preparation, I finally make my first step. It have been 2 months and I think it's time to start the planning. I hope things turn out well and I shall update here again. *Pray for me pls!
Till then :)
& all the best to the RMIT friends who's having their exams!
I always remember how hard I suffered during my UOLs day. Thankful to have a batch of friend studying together and there to encourage each other. So if you ever feel like giving up, asked what make you come so far and don't!
Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a huge battle.

Ultimate Hawker Fest 2012
Me and TAN Z Y went to the Ultimate Hawker Fest yesterday at Millenia Walk. It'a a fund-raising event that features some of the famous hawker cuisine.
Glad we went and really enjoyed the food. Furthermore, it's all for a good cause!
Here's the Boston Scallop Laksa by celebrity chef, Eric Teo. I insist on queuing for this, and gotten it only after at least 30mins of wait. *Good food are worth the wait :) Love the soup base.
We also quene for this;
Geyland Lor 29 - Hokkien Mee
No picture because TAN Z Y started eating before I get to take it. *He eat a lot and everything! LOL, We love the chili from these!
It started pouring but everyone was still very supportive. Many still continue queuing with umbrella. Thank to the kind soul who lent us the umbrella for us to takeaway 4 Happy boy's taohuey from 592 Geyland Road.
:D we will definitely be back if this is a yearly event. & honestly all these hawker food are really good!
For more information on Ultimate Hawker Fest and the full menu: Ultimate Hawker Fest
These Hawker food are all recommended by the food blogger: Dr Leslie Tay who write on ieatishootipost.sg Now I can't wait to get his book so that TAN Z Y can start to plan for our feasting route :P !
Ending with this;
my 1st Carlo Rino's bag :D
Thanks Jemmawei.com for the $50 voucher, I only pay . .
$14 for a bag that cost $90 originally. Loving the GST absorb by Changi Airport selected stores :)
Love doesn't make the world go round, but it makes the ride worth while.

Changi Dash - Final
You can read more about Changi Dash here: Changi Dash - Part 1,this was how we actually proceed to the final :)
We was told to gather at Terminal 3, Changi Airport on the final which took place on 13th October, 10am.
Here's the Final 9 teams, one team drop out due to their personal reason :)
Glad we didn't look too sleepy early in the morning :P
We are Team 4! & I am so surprised they actually bring us into the Transit Area for the final dash! but this would also means those things me and TAN Z Y recce before the race was useless HAHA!
Eugene giving us briefing before the start of the race and the BONUS CHALLENGE, more on that later.
We was then given a file with Challenge #1, Bonus challenge and 5 Code breaker that you will need to decode all the clues. Whenever we complete the station's challenge, we will only be given clue to the next station and we would have to decode it before knowing where it is.
The power of smartphone and google :P
Challenge #1 - History of Changi Airport, where we have fill in the blanks and that's Jonathan & Nadia solving the clue to the next station. The last photo was one of the code breaker.
So the clue lead us to the 2nd stop which is the SWIMMING POOL, i never knew this exist in the airport but it really does, at Terminal 1, Level 3.
Challenge #2 was to take a photo with the swimming pool at the background and BOTH PARTICIPANTS must be in the photo. Thereafter, create a tweet with the photo attached.
Here's our tweet and photo :D Super sunny day! & Thanks to people who helped us retweet the tweet, it actually save us 10 seconds for each retweets!
The next clue we decode lead us to one of the Perfumes and Cosmetic store, here we are to told to find the price of 5 item. Only the name of the item was given to us hence we don't even know how they look like.
This actually slow down quite a few teams and guess what TAN Z Y couldn't even find one. :X He say guys are not good with beauty items LOL.
Challenge #3: We have to compare the price we found with their original price (given to us) calculate the amount save, percentage of savings and total them all up.
Here's us queneing up to let the station master check our answers and hoping hard to get the clue for the next station HAHA!
The next clue we decode was DENDROBIUM, which we manage to solve only after being enlighten by Wendy. Such a killer clue, this was actually the Name of flower at one of the Nature Trail - Orchid Garden & Koi Pond at Terminal 2.
A very picture worthy place, in fact we do see people taking photo there.
Challenge #4: To take photo with the Silkair to Kuala Lumpar sign with at least one member in it and at the same time found out how many daily flight Silkair have to KL. Thereafter upload the photo with the answer to facebook. This TAN Z Y do it himself because it was too far away for me to run :O but only receiving the call later from him asking me to RUN OVER to complete the Bonus Challenge.
Here's our post in facebook, again the like will reduct our final timing by 10 second per like :)
After running over, me and TAN Z Y manage to complete their BONUS CHALLENGE. The challenge was to find either the Silkair's Flight Stewardess or Lead Flight Stewardess to take a photo with them, BOTH member must be in the photo. Thereafter the first to load it onto facebook with all the instruction given (place to tag etc) will get a time bonus.
Each team can only submit ONE photo and claim either ONE of the time bonus. Photo with Silkair's Flight Stewardess will deduct 10 minutes & Photo with Lead Flight Stewardess will deduct 20 minutes.
The bottom one was our photo, we thought it will be safe to take with all of them because if any one of the time bonus was claimed we will still get the other one.
AND BINGO, the 10minutes time bonus was alrady claimed. We gotten the 20minutes time bonus :D *Super happy on this!
Next Clue we manage to decode give us "Garra Rufa", guess what this is the Name of a fish which lead us to the next stop Fish Spa & Foot Reflexology at Terminal 1.
Here there is Tag Team Challenge #5: Where we have to chose one partner to stay at the Fish Spa and another partner to go about. The challenge will only be reveal to each of us after we decide who to stay, and who to go.
So i stayed and my challenge was to . . .
Do fish spa and upload the photo i took to facebook which is the easier one :X
We are not to remove our foot from the water until our partner are back. If we remove, time will be added to our final timing. Here was where i start whatspping the different whatsapp group to gather like! :D
And for my poor partner, he told me he has to run to different Terminals to just complete that challenge.
He was the 2nd to come back then, with his shirt all wet :X Their challenge was to find the wood block to colour their paper with it and he told me those woodblok exist at all terminal so they have to find the right one. :O
Next Clue was the top right hand photo which bring us to Harry's.
Challenge #6: A cocktail was given to us and we have to drink it to guess which was the right one. We will only be given one try to tick one out of the 5 choice given to us. If we are wrong, we are to stay there for 10minutes. The choices given to us tell us what ingredient was in it but some was really too similar so a few team got stuck there.
Luck really shine on us that day because both of us got it right on the 1st try!
Next clue decode bring us to Butterfly Garden at Terminal 3.
Here the Tag Team Challenge #7 was again activated ! my brave partner let me stay this time and again mine was the easier one! *don't know to laugh or cry! I just have to go into the butterfly garden to find answer and fill in the blank while poor partner run around T3 to find art pieces to take photo with!
There are 5 art installation to find and from what he told me, it's from one end to the other.
Again, he come back with wet t-shirt :O while i was massaging myself with the free OTO Powerfoot machine :X
On the sky train to Orchid Cafe at Terminal 2. Did i mentioned throughout the dash, they make us run from one terminal to another?
Arrived at the Orchid Cafe and right behind was the Gaming Room.
Challenge #8: Only one partner is to complete this challenge, and my partner say he want to do it because he see the it's gaming! HAHA, right choice! They are to play the Kinect Bowling and hit 150points to complete the challenge. On top of it, if we can get 200points and above, there will be a bonus given which is 10minutes deduction!
Very focus all of us!
Here's my partner which was the only one who get the time bonus! He actually got 219 points at the end of it and keep telling me it's fun!
We then proceed to the last Pitstop which is the Asia's Largest M&M's store at Terminal 2.
There our time was stopped and i remembered our timing was 3hr12mins! We come in as 2nd before counting all the time bonus and likes/retweet we get!
All team gathered at The Green Market for our lunch sponsered by Changi Airport Group, all i can say is they really took goof care of all of us.
One team actually thought it was the challenge like the initial round and hence they eat really fast until one of the organiser ask them why they are eating so fast LOLS.
& prize presentation time, everyone win something back!
All waiting !
The 4th to 9th team got $200 in Changi Dollar Vouchers as well :)
3rd: Jonathan & Nadia who was actually the first to complete the race. They win $1,000 in Changi Dollar Vouchers and a pair of return SilkAir tickets to Lombok, Indonesia.
2nd: Benjamin & Ding Jie. They win $2,000 in Changi Dollar Vouchers and a pair of return SilkAir tickets to Da Nang, Vietnam.
1st: Me and my partner, Calvin Tan :) We won $5,000 in Changi Dollar Vouchers and a pair of return SilkAir tickets to a any destination of our choice.
I am ending this post who these pictures;

Growing up.
Met up with 2 of my friends yesterday and had a good dinner + catch up.
Did i mentioned about the cheap food at Taste of Thailand 泰國小食? you should really check it out, i love the Tomyam soup & Pineapple rice there! :D i see many people ordering the fried fish too!
me & TAN Z Y always go for the small portion for all the food we order, their serving is very generous so enough :D
here's some photo i took long ago, but since we are talking about it decided to post the outdated photo :P
Us at the Yishun Industrial outlet, there's 2 outlets. #miss my long hair!
the picture does not do any justice to the food, would recommend for a try for the cheap price! i remembered their tom yam soup is $4 & pineapple rice $3 only for the small portion! On top of it, they always like to give like a dollar discount at the final bill.
Here's the information i manage to google:
1001 Yishun Industrial
#01-1001 Yishun Industrial Food Centre, S768743
Tel: +65 6758 9121
Operating Hours: Daily 11:00 - 14:00 & 17:00 - 21:30
701A Yishun Avenue 5
#01-01, Opposite Chong Pang
Tel: +65 6756 4883
Operating Hours: Daily 11:00 - 14:00 & 17:30 - 22:00
Alright backed to the topic, i had to really say even since i started working, i really cherish meet up like this. So people who are still studying, enjoy the moment to the fullest, you will miss it dearly thereafter.
Thats when everyone around you get busy into their adult-hood, serious topic like house, marriage, kids starts kicking in.
My secondary school life was really fun & super memorable, everyday after school was about training for volleyball and running. And i especially miss the "recess time" where we will always rush to finish our food so that we have time for play/chat!
I remembered my group have this "birthday sabo" where we really make the birthday girl die, literally. During one of my birthday, this group of friend threw my school shoe from level 3 into the fish pond :O so very paiseh to retrieve it thereafter, yes shoeless for the day. I can't even remember how they manage to remove it from my foot!
AND SO MUCH MORE! but sadly friends grow up and some just grow apart.
I am very amazed by how people grow or changes, good and bad. I always remind myself not too be too judgemental but some action by my used to be close friend never fails to make me go speechless.
I guess thats just life and growing up.
Ending with this;
p/s: #Changidash final this saturday, super excited!
xoxo.
