1st dragonboat race.

have been talking about this for quite sometime.
"i want to travel so badly."

& soon, i am gonna be doing it. *anticipating much.

July & August, please come fast.
i just want a break so badly !

talking about holiday, remind me of this.

me & B's passport ! :)
nice not? although color suits more for girl :x

i brought it from von months ago,
visit here to support my friend: Vonel *clickclick
she sell not only passport cover but also adidas watch @ cheaper price and also some cute pouch ! :)

& i have book for . . .

Taiwan - 22th aug to 28th aug !
that's after much consideration and the next day Jetstar have 1-for-1. :(

yes, i know i am unlucky and pretty heart-pain for days already LOL.
but what to do, got to accept it and just enjoy the trip ! :)

& now to the itinerary, we are still planning.
Any suggestion?
P.S. Thanks to those who have send me yours anyway! :)

anyway,
remember that i mentioned about picking up a new sports and about my 1st race?

yes i picked up dragonboat and learn to row,
definitely not easy.
& honestly i am quite bad at it haha, i am only good with ball related sport if you know me well.
so yeap, a sport totally new to me !

& i had my first race with my company at marina barriage last saturday.

very nice place to row at right?

on a random note: i want to go there fly kite one day :P

& happy to say, we managed to clinch 2 medals in total.

got 2nd for a 200m invitation race out of 16teams with a timing of 1.00.26min if i am not wrong :)

got 3rd for a 200m mixed race.

both race i didn't get to row, cause i was being the drummer HAHA.
very fun experience, you can totally imagine me hugging the drum with one hand and knocking it with the other.

got to really thanks the rowers for the fun and assurance that i wont fall into the sea :P
was pretty scare about it cos the chair i am seated on is of the same height as the drum and to make it worse, i can't swim.

can see the height of the chair and drum?
that's why i have to bend and hug it with one hand.

& they told me if the drummer will to drop into the sea,
they will be disqualify :x

all in all,
i enjoyed the race and hoping for more of rowing session.

that's about all,
enjoyed your weekend all !

We've got youth, we've got drive.
We'll dream big and live large.

comfort zone.

Just last week,
my department arranged this for us.

yesyes, JENGA.

it's more of the preparation of some award thingy and they combined the fun part with the award-related information.

time like that become a break away from our job,
although it's just a mere one hour, it does affect.
it's like a breather for us, which does motivates, at least to me.

you never know how much self-motivation i have to exercise in my job :(

& talking about comfort zone,
i am getting out of mine after a good 2years doing the same task.
i wouldnt say task were the same all the time, but most of the time it does.
except for time where i am given the opportunity to be a trainer and supervisor to the temps.

& now, to a scope that i always wanted to explore and try it out.
although i have my hold back on the changes,
be it the comfort zone, having to start all over again, adapting the new environment or even handling politics or what you name it.

i decide to give it a go,
and faced it as neutral as i can.
Needless to say, i will give my best in it :)

& yeap,
i will be doing face to face interviews rather than calls from this coming monday onwards.

To add on to all that,
i really want to thanks everyone at my current workplace for this 2years there.
all the nice colleages made it so much easier for my survival,
& how much i have actually grew there :)

i wouldnt say i'm prefect but definitely alot better from some one who have zero knowledge in tax to who i am now. :)
not forgetting the encouragement and suppports i have from my reporting AMs & Ms.
really glad to be in team 1 and team 5 :)

for all that,
i will remembered and thankful for it really! :)

bear in mind: POSITIVE.

I'm wiser because of my mistakes,
I'm happier because of my sad time,
I'm stronger because of my hard time.

RSAF Open House 2011

my first time to the RSAF Open House,
understand from Evelyn that it was a yearly event that attract lots of people.

now i see it,
it really does attract crowds.
Glad that we was able to go even before it was open to the public PHEW.

you could have totally imagine the crowd if it's open for the public.

anyway, was able to attend it during our working hours as it was a PSW week.
PSW stands for Public Service Week, where civil servants are able to attend various event :D

Some of the photos i took,
i am bad at identifying the planes, hence just the photos for you - in lomo view! :)

helicopter?

if i remember correctly, this is famous plane - APACHE that fell infront of my house? :x

NICE?

now the bigger planes . .

this was pretty a nice combo, the army color !

& i found out that all the planes have this logo, does it has some meaning?

& the bottom left is the inner view of the army planes.

apart from just planes or helicopter,
i also come across these few, don't really know what's its function.
but that's first time i saw them, hmmm.

they just kinda remind me of those construction where it is used to dig up the mud kind HAHA ! :x ignorant i know.

enough of planes, i cant give you good explanation on them too :(
how about human photos :P

yes, you can get inside one of the planes and take photo.

with friends in the photo too ! :)
*thanks to the staff there.

with oxygen man also? hah!

or you prefer ROBOT?

gonna end with this. . .

so cool to be able to dress as pilot and take photo,
the most worthwhile of this event - to me :P

P.S. Apart for the hot weather, everything is great :)

It's a yearly event, if you miss this one.
Watch out for the one in 2012 :)

Movie Preview: Ladda Land

Thanks to OMY.sg, me and B was able to attend this preview at PS on Monday.

Ladda Land; horror.

Synopsis;

Buying a home is a dream that everyone strives for.
Thee (Saharat Sangkapreecha) is one of millions in Bangkok that cannot afford a home, much less a spacious home on his meager staff salary. Living in an old rental apartment, he feels the societal pressure of being labeled a bad husband and father for not being able to provide his family a house.

One day, a huge job opportunity knocks on his door and Thee accepts a position as the new Head of Marketing at a company located in northern Thailand . Now with a substantially higher salary while living in an area with lower real estate prices, a new home isn’t just a dream anymore. Without hesitation, Thee decides to leave his old life and move his family to Chiang Mai.

Thee believes that his wife, Parn (Piyathida Woramusik), and his two kids Nan and Nat will have a happier life at Laddaland, a new housing project with large, beautiful homes. Life is good. At the dinner table, Thee smiles proudly with pride. Finally, everyone can be together and enjoy the warmth and comfort of their new home.

Little does he realize that in the same evening a Burmese maid is brutally murdered at a neighbor’s house. Savagely beaten, her mangled body is found stuffed inside the
refrigerator.

Personal rating: 2/5
But one thing for sure, the sound effect is really good.
Make it more scarier than the plot itself :x and some parts was kinda hilarious :)

apart from those,
the main actress was really beautiful and the cute son! *plus point

he is only 5yrs old !

& i almost forget to mention this,
after watching the show, i am gonna keep in my mind that "never buy aircon with eye sensor!"

Want to know why?

Catch Ladda Land for the answer and before it ends :)

lastly,
Thanks OMY.sg once again for the preview!

(Y)

ending with the mini icecream & me which is the dinner of that day!
because show start at 715pm, i only end work at 630pm :(

in all,
i am still thankful for it.

Hope you enjoy my preview of it too :D

Make peace with your past so it will not destroy your present.

so i am gladful me and B actually overslept :x

Victoria Jomo - fashion buffet.
as i already said, it's so fun and unique for a shopping to be make this way :D

i enjoyed and definitely going if there's another one.
plus, the staff was really friendly.
they gave B a icecream discount voucher cause he was not allowed to go in with me.

make his 30mins wait so much more enjoyable.
and no, he never complained. :P

here's my buy, 5piece for $35.
2 top, one bottom and 2 dress, so worth!

headed to purchase our movie tickets at Causeway Point thereafter.
the cinema's quene these days is really horrible, was thinking is it because of the June holiday, hmmm.

nevertheless, we got our ticket at the last 2row so YAY!

X-MEN FIRST CLASS was really awesome!

personal rating: 4.5/5
*dont miss it!

it's about the first class of mutant trained by Professor X, and how XMEN was formed and all.

lasted for about 130 minutes! :)

alright, i need to end my post abruptly.
Need to rush to causeway point to meet B for Starbucks !

it's always nice to have you around :D

never stay in your comfort zone when you know you can do better than this,

Bruno Mars - Grenade

Easy come, easy go
That's just how you live, oh
Take, take, take it all,
But you never give
Should of known you was trouble from the first kiss,
Why were they open?
Gave you all I had
And you tossed it in the trash
You tossed it in the trash, you did
To give me all your love is all I ever asked,

*Cause what you don't understand is
I’d catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
I’d jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah , yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah, yeah)
Oh, oh
I would go through all this pain,
Take a bullet straight through my brain,
Yes, I would die for ya baby;
But you won't do the same

Black, black, black and blue beat me till I'm numb
Tell the devil I said “hey” when you get back to where you're from
Mad woman, bad woman,
That's just what you are, yeah,
You’ll smile in my face then rip the breaks out my car
Gave you all I had
And you tossed it in the trash

You tossed it in the trash, yes you did
To give me all your love is all I ever asked
Repeat *

If my body was on fire, ooh
You’ d watch me burn down in flames
You said you loved me you're a liar
Repeat *

No, you won’t do the same,
You wouldn’t do the same,
Ooh, you’ll never do the same.
